Overview: Admissions are open to committed Christians from all denominations who meet the Seminary’s academic and spiritual requirements.
The process

FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT.
Fees are liable to change from year to year. They are calculated according to the student’s
course of study.

REGISTRATION
All students are required to follow the schedule and procedure for registration for each
student and are required to finalize their registration (i.e fully registered) for the semester
within the stipulated time and before official enrollment for classes.

ACADEMIC AND STUDENTS INFORMATION:
Most courses are 3 credit hours, this means that the course involves two 75-minutes class
period that is; 2 hours and 45 minutes a week for a 16 week Semester.

TERM PAPERS
Term papers shall be freshly written papers by the students themselves and must not be
submitted anywhere else.

COURSE LOAD
Students are regarded as full time students. If they are registered for 12 or more credit hours
per Semester as undergraduate students or 9 credit hours as graduate students.

CLASS ATTENDANCE
Class attendance is compulsory for all PDTS students and it attracts marks (10%).

ACADEMIC YEAR
The academic year is 34 weeks including 2 weeks for examination but not including mid-
semester break.

EXAMINATION
Examination must be taken when scheduled except for compassionate reasons. Permission
for absence from the scheduled examination may only be granted by the Dean in
consultation with the lecturer concerned.

The followings are the common criteria for admission for all programmers:
- A confession of personal faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Evidence of walking in the newness of life in Christ.
- Evidence of a sense of personal call to Christian Ministry.

ENTRANCE PROCEDURES
- Applicants must buy form online or at its Abuja main campus or any of our satellite or study centers across the nation (i.e our District Churches)
- This form must be completed by the applicants and referees and submitted before the deadline with a medical certificate of fitness from a government hospital.
- Candidates must produce essential /necessary credentials such evidence as certificates, official transcripts, statements of results etc.
Other basic requirements for admission for respective courses of study in the Seminary are as follows:

At minimum, candidate must have passed or show evidence of obtaining Junior Secondary School Certificate (JSSCE) for a certificate course.

O ‘level Certificate (GCE, NECO, WASCE, NABTEB or its equivalents) with a minimum
of 3 credits and 2 passes including English Language for Diploma course. -
Higher qualifications such as NCE, OND, HND and University degrees in any field of study will be an added advantage.

For candidates vying for B.TH, a Diploma in Theology from an approved theological school must have been obtained before applying for this programme.
